What it costs to be on the perch

Tiers.

Three options. Two of them recurring — the standing-room ticket at £6 and the back-the-studio-harder one at £12 — and one founding-member one-shot at £75 that buys lifetime access while the gate is still open. Same room either way. No separate premium channel, because the whole point is that everyone’s in the conversation.

The gate is being wired up through Stripe and isn’t live yet. Everyone who is signed in right now is on a founding-member basis until then; the numbers below are the shape of the door fee, set so the place pays for its own electricity and the bouncer does its work. When the gate closes, the Fledge tier closes with it.

Perch

£6 / month
Recurring

The standing-room ticket. Full Rookery access, no asterisks.

  • Read and post in every thread.
  • Start your own threads when you’ve got something to say.
  • Cancel any time; your posts stay where they are.

Nest

£12 / month
Recurring

For people who want to back the studio a bit harder than the bare door fee. Same room, same threads — no separate ‘premium’ channel, because that would split the conversation. The extras are studio-side, not Rookery-side.

  • Everything in Perch.
  • First-look at edition releases — twelve to twenty-four hours before public.
  • A monthly dispatch note from the bench — short, by email, what was on the rig this month.
  • A nine-percent discount on edition prints and resin sculptures.
Founding member · while the gate is open

Fledge

£75 once
One-time

Available until the gate closes. One charge, lifetime Perch tier, listed as a founding member in the Rookery’s quiet member list. If the studio winds down, the listing stands.

  • Lifetime Perch access — no recurring charge after this one.
  • Founding-member listing in the Rookery member directory.
  • A small printed thank-you card, posted once, with a signed test-strip from the studio.

Only available until the subscription gate closes. The gate is being wired up; once Stripe is live, the Fledge tier closes.

The rest of the Rookery

For the front door, the perch. For the longer letter on how the place is built and why the door has a cover charge, About the Rookery.
